Casual Obsession is a bi weekly podcast put out by 4 friends of varying levels of horror knowledge. We get together, talk about elements of the movie, and talk about how well we think it executed its premise. We do this all from the perspective of generally untrained fans of the genre who simply have a passion for horror in all it’s forms.

Emma is newer to the Horror genre, but has quickly fallen in love with it since joining the podcast in 2020. Growing up they were very scared of horror movies, avoiding them their entire life. However, when the other hosts were talking about possibly starting a horror movie podcast, Emma volunteered to be the fresh voice who got scared by everything. Having found their horror legs immediately, Emma realized the genre has far more to love than to fear. Now, they can be found hosting watch parties to help ease in other friends who are also unsure how to get into horror.

For years, Noah has been interested in horror in all its forms. Since playing the original Dead Space in 2010, horror has been an itch he’s always been excited to scratch. While Noah likes to say his interests lean toward horror from the 70s and 80s, his favorite horror franchises are Saw and Hellraiser.
